Education: Associate''s Degree in Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineering or similar field, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum five years of experience in facility design for manufacturing with strong emphasis on production line layout and design. Industry experience in Food, Beverage, Packaging or Dairy beneficial, experience in Plastics and PET preferred.
Expert knowledge of AutoCAD 2015 or higher with experience and demonstrated proficiency working with multi-layer AutoCAD drawings, X-refs, paper / model space, embedded attributes, basic 3-D knowledge, and plotting of such drawings.
Solid understanding of the technical and operational aspects of production processes, utilities, ancillary equipment, and building characteristics in manufacturing facilities, especially the Plastics, Food and Beverage, Packaging, or Dairy Industries.
Ability to perform field audits of manufacturing plants, including collecting physical measurements and data, climbing stairs and ladders, working safely with appropriate PPE in high-noise and high-activity manufacturing and utility areas.
Self-discipline and self-direction to perform multiple tasks unsupervised with minimal guidance with excellent time management and organizational skills.
