Job type: 6 months contract-to-hire

Purpose of Role:
As a web Developer, you will be developing next generation of web platform for pet owners to get insight of their pets. You will be having fun working on DNA data and creating tone of values for our customers. The web developer will play an important role in architecting, coding, testing and deployment of the next generation web platform.
Principal Accountabilities:
Investigate, validate and build next generation web applications
In-charge of working across technology stack, building reusable systems and tools in cloud with focus on scalability and availability.
Work with Marketing, R&D, Operations and Customer care team to implement leading edge solutions in to our web applications to increase product awareness, and sales.
Develop frameworks, tools and techniques to make development scalable, testable and accessible.
Ensure that our application is built with industry best practices to maximize the IT investment.
Key Functional Skills/Knowledge:
Solid Integration application development experience, ideally on Java or Node JS platform.
Experience with Node Java Spring, AngularJS Frameworks or other genuinely object-oriented enterprise quality Frameworks
Experience with building API in AWS gateway or Heroku
Experience with building continues integration such as Jenkins
Extensive familiarity with software design techniques, testing plans and procedures, and deployment practices, which ensure excellent quality, performance, scalability, and availability of the web applications
Strong foundation in Software Engineering, Operating Systems, Databases, Networking, and Web protocols
Solid experience in developing /supporting Java coded sites is a must
Proven ability to work with designers to transform design visions in to working sites
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years working with Node.JS Java and MySQL technologies.
3+ years of working experience on Linux systems
3+ years of working experience with developing and deploying application in Heroku or AWS environments
2+ years of working experience on CSS, AngularJS, and Bootstrap, JavaScript, XML, HTML, SOAP, REST, jQuery and AJAX scripting.
Working knowledge with Terraform scripting
Working knowledge on Amazon web services S3, EC2, Amazon Cognito, and Amazon API Gateway
Experience with Git, Continuous integration and Continues delivery.
Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or required
5+ years of working experience in building websites for both internal and external sites.
Minimum 2+ years of experience working in an agile platform.
