Position Description/Responsibilities:
Experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Struts, Web MVC, Apache Tomcat, JSP, JSTL, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2, PHP, AS400 technologies
Experience with Linux/Unix administration, writing shell scripts, batch process, security monitoring, log files
Experience in root cause analysis, issue tracking, performance improvement and support
Responsible for monitoring all application support activities for back-end IT applications including trouble shooting, performance monitoring, recommendation of resolution, installation and script/code writing Tests, debugs, documents, and installs new applications and programs and work closely with development, infrastructure
Understanding on Software development life cycle and experience with build and deployment process.
Assist in the maintenance of databases and systems Support for production and non-production environments.
Perform application systems development tasks which include working with users to define system needs, analyzing and designing applications to meet user needs, translating logic diagrams into program statements, deploying and implementing
Interact with business users and analysts, data architects, and quality assurance and configuration management teams to design and implement solutions using SDLC processes
Debugging the code, troubleshooting and finding the root cause.
