Job Title: Full Stack Engineer - Jenkins
Location: Richfield, MN
Duration: 12+ Months
Basic Qualifications
o Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent work experience
o Eight or more years of work experience in Application Development/IT Systems Testing, and team leadership
o Expert-level Coding Skills (typically Java or C, including Version Control Systems and the Eclipse IDE
o Functional Testing experience, including ability to create, maintain and execute both manual and automated tests
o DevOps capabilities – containers, cloud, automation, security, configuration management, CI/CD
Required Skills / Experience
o Experience in developing multiple programming languages, frameworks, and patterns.
o Experience with microservices and REST APIs
o Experience in DevOps methodology
o Strong background in Linux/Unix/Windows administration
o Experience with automation/configuration management and continuous integration using Jenkins
o Experience with source control systems like GIT and TFS
o Experience with artifact management systems such as Artifactory or Nexus
o Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and a good understanding of cloud (hosted and on-prem)
o A working understanding of code and scripting (Java, .Net, Shell, Groovy)
o A working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
Preferred Qualifications
o 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing distributed applications
o 1+ year of Agile experience
o Experience with developing and deploying applications on Cloud, preferably Docker/Kubernetes. AWS and other off-prem solutions a plus
o Understanding of Test Driven Development concepts and supportive tools like Cucumber and Selenium
o Understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional programming concepts using languages like Java, .Net
o Solid programming skills in at least one language (Java/.Net), deep knowledge of REST API
o Has depth and breadth of knowledge across multiple software engineering disciplines
o Is self-driven, actively looks for ways to contribute, and knows how to get things done
o Familiarity with Configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef or Terraform
o Certified in one of the following: Java or .Net technologies
Responsibilities:
o Construction and administration of new DevOps build environments using CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise in a Docker/Kubernetes environment
o Configuring new build jobs using latest pipeline technology
o Troubleshooting build processes and supporting application teams with their specific application build and deployment needs
o Assisting application teams with artifact management using Artifactory
o Bring solid experience in emerging and traditional build, deployment and provisioning technologies such as: Java, .Net, Groovy, REST, JSON, XML, Maven, Ant, Gradle, Puppet, Chef, Octopus, and Ansible to name a few
