Position : Full stack .Net developer
Location: NY
Duration : Contract
We are seeking a strong, highly motivated contributor with significant experience as a Full Stack Developer utilizing several techniques and languages. The ideal candidate for this role possesses the highest level of integrity, strong initiative and drive with the ability to work both independently and under pressure. This individual is a dynamic self-starter with a passion for technology.
Responsibilities:
Update existing software applications with new features and bug fixes
Collaborate with other engineers on approaches to solve business problems
Participate in a daily scrum stand-up meeting
Write unit tests using the latest & greatest toolset
Communicate with the technical team of our partners and vendors
Collaborate with various departments to implement new business initiatives
Other duties as assigned by department leader
Qualified candidates must have the following skills:
A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Microsoft Visual Studio suite application development
Visual Basic, C#, Microsoft.NET Framework
ASP.NET, using Web API, MVC and Web Forms
Various .NET data access technologies including Entity Framework, LINQ, and ADO.NET
Microsoft SQL Server and SQL/Transact-SQL; Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence Tools (Reporting Services, Analysis Services)
Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office knowledge including Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel
JavaScript (including knowledge of various Open Source JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.js, SignalR, Backbone.js, node.js, ember.js)
HTML, XML, Cascading style sheets (CSS)
