Frontend Architect
Location – Santa Clara, CA
USC/GC Only
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
10+ years overall professional experience in a leading-edge engineering environment architecting, developing and deploying complex, robust, and highly scalable production services and applications, of which a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in designing and developing leading-edge consumer facing digital applications
Strong proficiency and hands-on experience in at least two of the following front-end frameworks: React/Flux, Angular.js, Ember, Backbone
Very strong knowledge on JavaScript, ECMAScript
Rails experience: Understand and communicate a feature design from model(s) to endpoint(s) to the front-end
Proficiency in client-side web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JS, Bootstrap)
Experience with client performance optimization for high traffic web applications
Experience building mobile responsive sites
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate directly and effectively with stakeholders
Experience with agile practices, quick iterations, and integration of regular feedback
Exposure to source-code management tools like Git and SVN
Continuous Integration and Continuous Development - Maven, Jenkins
Ability to do very quick research in unknown technologies
Startup mindset, comfort with chaos and multi-tasking ability
Strong programming fundamentals in Data Structures and Algorithms
