Position:Front-end Web Developer

Location:New York City, NY

Duration:Permanent

Required Skills:
4+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in JavaScript based web development plus a Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent professional experience combined with a Bachelor’s degree
Expertise with Node.JS, JQuery, and at least one of ReactJS, EmberJS, Angular
Experience with build and dependency management tools (e.g. npm, Webpack, gulp)
Insist on automating everything (testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery)
Working knowledge of Python and experience with either Java or Scala
Some experience with Python frameworks such as Flask, Django, and/or Pylons
Working knowledge of cloud platforms, what it means to build a cloud native app and experience with one or more of AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
Good experience with agile development processes like Scrum and Kanban
Experience in working with Unix/Linux environment
