Job Title: Front-End Software Engineer
Duration: 2 months contract
Location: Raleigh, NC
Description:
The client''s Satellite Engineering team is looking for a Front End Software Engineer to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will join a diverse team working on projects related to client''s Satellite. You''ll use your AngularJS, React.js, and JavaScript expertise to collaborate with fellow engineers, user experience (UX) designers, technical writers, and the product team to build attractive and usable user interfaces.

Primary job responsibilities
* Implement user interface for new backend features in client Satellite, applying styling from PatternFly (Client''s centralized UXD group) as needed to provide a consistent look and feel within client''s offerings
* Communicate with developers, automation engineers, UX designers, and the community
* Inspire engineers working on backend interfaces to follow best practices in user interfaces
* Identify system deficiencies, conduct technical research and analysis, and recommend solutions or fixes
* Contribute tests to the continuous integration (CI) suite to help maintain high stability of the upstream project
* Contribute to team efforts for maintenance releases, not just current feature work

Required Skills
* 3-5 years experience with front end javascript technologies such as React and Angular.
* Experience with RoR backends a plus
* Experience with Linux a plus
