Job Title: Front End Developer
Location: Windsor Mill, MD
Duration: 10 years
Rate: $70/hour on 1099
This position requires 9+ years of experience. A BS degree is required.
We have an urgent need for a Front End Developer who will:
Utilize experience on enterprise solutions.
Utilize strong solution design skills and the ability to document, communicate, and implement the designs patterns they utilize.
Utilize strong oral and written communications skills in order to clearly and effectively convey issues, reports, and other deliverables.
Develop, maintain, and support web and windows services, web and windows applications and other system software.
Work with third party API and integrate to existing or new software.
Develop detailed and robust requirements, code, test, and implement the required business process.
The candidate must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust.
Required Skills:
BS degree in a related field with nine (9) years of software development experience
Must be able to accept a position that requires US citizenship or Permanent Residency
Must be able to accept a position that requires federal government security clearance
Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, Java, and JavaScript
Experience with CSS preprocessors, such as Less (preferred) or Sass.
Experience with JavaScript-based templating, such as Nunjucks (preferred), Handlebars, Moustache, et. al.
Experience with Web Components frameworks, such as W3C Web
Components, Vue.js (preferred), Polymer, Angular, React, Preact, Riot, et. al.
J2EE
Desired Skills:
Experience with ES6
Struts 2
Git
Experience with package managers, such as NPM, Webpack, Browserify, et. al.
Experience with some type of task runner, such as Gulp (preferred), Grunt, et. al.
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and a JavaScript-based testing framework, such as Selenium (preferred), Cucumber, Mocha, Jasmine, QUnit, et. al.
Experience with headless browser automation tools, such as Nightwatch (preferred), PhantomJS,
et. al.
