Job Description :
*Location:* Austin, TX
*Length:* 12+ months
Rate $40/hr C2C.
*Title:* Front End Web Developer
*Day to Day:* Working on community websites right now (CMS) and using
Umbraco code.
Candidate will need to have experience building out pages in CMS''s as that
will be a lot of the day to day duties.
*Duties:*
Client is looking for a web developer with at least 3 years WEB
DEVELOPMENT experience and strong front end coding skills. Attention to
detail in every front end platform from desktop to mobile devices is a must
have. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring their code works on all
browsers including IE 10 and above, and all mobile devices, and also that
the design elements are consistent and of a high quality.
Full understanding of W3C compliance rules and candidate needs to keep
themselves up to date about advances in the web development space. Client
is looking for a candidate who strives for excellence and continually
updates his/her knowledge base.
*Must have Skillsets:*
CSS, HTML 5, Responsive frameworks and expert level knowledge of CSS rules
(2+ years of experience necessary, but ideally 4-5 years)
W3C validation (2+ years of experience necessary but ideally 4-5 years)
JavaScript (3 years)
Knowledge of SEO techniques including (Schema.org, social media API s, Meta
data tags, HTML tags, google analytics etc (2 years)
C# - ASP.Net (2 years)
JavaScript Frameworks Angular JS, Angular 5 (these 2 are radically
different and should not be grouped as one) (1 year Client open to
candidate having Angular 2 or Angular 4 as well.
JQuery (1 year)
*Nice to have:*
WebPack (JavaScript Framework)
WorkBox (Progressive web app framework)
Umbraco (ASP.NET CMS)
Knowledge of the OWASP top 10 from 2013 and 2017.
NPM commands.
Client expects that the candidate will know backend technologies as well.
