Client’s digital team is looking for a Front End Developer who is dedicated to delivering interactive marketing projects across our organization. You will collaborate daily with other developers, designers, and marketers to develop concepts and bring web experiences to life through clean, semantic markup. This role is mostly technical and requires strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals. Here at Client, we thrive in a fast paced environment and utilize the latest technologies for the web. Responsibilities
Working with designers to bring experiences to life, nailing the details of landing pages, microsites, emails, and all other interactive marketing materials across browsers and devices
Weighing-in on site architecture and helping to build out the technical vision for our clients’ web presences
Developing responsive email templates on an as-needed basis
Optimizing images, CSS, and JavaScript to maximize site speed and performance
Enhancing, updating, and maintaining existing web properties as needed, all under minimal supervision
Thinking on your feet and being up for a daily challenge
Managing your own time and working independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Desired Skills & Experience
1+ years of experience in web development
Strong problem solving skills and high standards for usability
Understanding of responsive design as well as best practices for mobile & touch devices
Strong skills in clean, semantic HTML5, CSS3 and JS markup
Familiarity with GIT version control concepts
CMS experience, especially with WordPress
Knowledge of and desire to use modern web standards
Ability to create cross-browser code
Motivated, passionate, collaborative, team-oriented, and hungry to learn
We’d Love To See
Familiarity with a server side language, such as PHP
Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, Raphael
Experience utilizing APIs
General understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience with MySQL database design and integration
