Our client a mid-sized investment bank is looking to a Fixed Income Support consultants to join their Front Office Solutions (FOS) group who is responsible for integrating, developing, and supporting the firm’s electronic trading and pricing platforms, CRM system, and Straight through Trade processing (STP) infrastructure. The group consists of a small team of developers and support staff that deliver solutions through proprietary development and the integration of third-party applications.
Team members works collaboratively with front, middle, and back office teams to ensure successful trade execution and trade flow to internal back-end systems and regulatory agencies.

THE DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
In-depth knowledge of /FRONT OFFICE FIXED INCOME securities and dealing with the broker/dealer market.
Engage with the trading and sales desks to provide support for pre and post trade execution
Maintain an expertise in all of the client''s trading platforms, including Bloomberg TOMS
Coordinate investigation of real time production issues
Liaise with trading desk with other internal teams (Operations, Compliance, IDM - Client On-boarding, Legal) and external vendor platforms.
Maintain functional documentation of trading systems and vendor platforms for handling production support issues, facilitating on-boarding, and implementing enhancement projects.
Functional requirements gathering and act as a business analyst in conjunction with Asset Class representatives and associated IT/Operations teams.
Assist with coordination/execution of implementations of the system across global sites.
Work closely with the associated Development Manager to schedule deliveries, set timelines and coordinate deliverables.
Assist with training/configuration of new users on the system.
Manage, and in various cases, execute testing phases for deliverables including associated support and coordination across various stakeholder groups
