Summary:
Looking for a team player that can come in and help Cargill manage our firewall policy. This position will focus on 3rd party connections, application firewall flow definition, and validation of firewall policy.
Accountabilities
Develop firewall application flows, ability to analyze network traffic and recommend firewall policy change for least privilege
Consult on the management of 3rd party network connections
Consult with the firewall engineering team as needed to assist with log analysis, troubleshooting firewall problems, build firewall policies/rules.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5 years Security, Firewall, and Network experience
Demonstrates problem solving skills and understanding of application architectures
Experience managing Checkpoint or other firewall configuration
Sound understanding of industry standard security frameworks such as CIS.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of Tufin.
Working knowledge of Cisco routers and switches and managing ACL''s.
Working knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platform and software defined networking.
Experience working on an Agile team.
