Looking for financial systems expert who can move beyond their finance background and into a business systems role, where their analytical strengths can be expanded and applied to solving complex financial reporting problems emanating from customer profitability system data issues.



The Business Systems Consultant selected for the current assignment will support reconciliation activities associated with customer master data, organizational hierarchies, product hierarchies and other high touch integrated data. This will entail detailed analyses using general ledger systems, financial reporting systems, profitability tools, back end databases, and other manually compiled data sources.



Additional duties will include:



· Partner with key members of Profitability Controls team and timely complete assigned data issue research projects

· Support data reconciliation efforts for individual LOBs

· Demonstrate effective communications that clearly describe root causes of data discrepancies

· Identify and recommend resolution efforts to drive accurate business reporting and end-user trust

· Ability to understand the data lifecycle from upstream to downstream systems

· As needed, assist with data clean-up projects and enhancements

· As assigned, coordinate with producers and consumers of profitability data to drive resolution of data issues



Required Qualifications:



· Minimum 5 years of finance experience with strong general ledger and reconciliation expertise, including deep products profitability reporting acumen

· Data analysis skills and experience with data and analytics tools, particularly SQL and Excel

· Proficient in Essbase or like Excel-based financial querying tool

· Ability to prioritize work, meets deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

· Strong business acumen with ability to effectively develop and mid-level management communications and presentations

· Ability and confidence to lead presentations of complex ideas in person or online and through conference calls to other individuals or groups in order to communicate and report as needed.

· Vision, intelligence, creativity, thirst to learn, collaboration and strong work ethic



Desired Qualifications



· Financial services business process/sales process experience

· Ability to deliver tactically and think strategically

· Experience with reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence platforms

· Familiarity with Wells Fargo’s Wholesale Division applications

· Familiarity with Wells Fargo’s Wholesale Division Data Governance programs.

· Experience working with pricing and profitability tools
