Title: Financial Analyst II
Location: Chicago
Duration: Long term, est. 1 year.
Candidate MUST be open to contract to hire (Green card or US citizen ONLY)
MUST HAVE STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FINANCIAL ANALYST II:
Prepare, analyze, and report on financial status.
Perform in-depth reviews and evaluations of monthly actual financial performance of programs and variances against project plan.
Accessing information maintained in various financial systems and databases to analyze, prepare and present business analysis to management.
Provide analysis to aid in achieving financial objectives, including - budgeting, forecasting, tracking variances, profitability, etc.
Respond to internal ad-hoc requests as assigned.
MINIMUM SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS FINANCIAL ANALYST II:
2-4 years of experience desired
FP&A experience (Forecasting, Planning and Analysis) is required (internship or work experience)
Some financial analytics experience required; financial service experience preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in Project Accounting desired
High proficiency in MS Excel and Access
Experience in People Soft, TM1 and Power BI a plus
MINIMUM EDUCATION FINANCIAL ANALYST:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance required
