Financial Analyst (Mid-Level)
Duration: 9 months – Will be CTH after 1-2 years of contractor status
Location: Austin - Parmer 3

Must Haves:
REQUIRED SKILLS MUST BE CLEARLY LISTED ON RESUME IN WORK EXPERIENCE SECTION (Candidates lacking required skills will be declined):
5 years of financial reporting experience
Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, and PO ordering systems
Demonstrated experience in managing detailed financials on large accounts (equivalent size to NVidia/AMD/Intel)
Needs to be able to speak to ability to maintain financial accounting/systems as well as how to manage deadlines through each quarter and the year
Will need to be comfortable with providing flash reports (to show status of work) on demand once they join the team to keep accountability through each quarter

Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities: *Analyzes/evaluates financial plans, including actual and planned results *Financial modeling. *Budgets development and expense reviews. *Ensures corporate compliance to government regulations and internal controls. *Provides recommendations to management. *Interacts with internal and external customers Scope *May lead the financial planning process for a business unit. *Develop outlooks, forecasts and annual plans as required. *Performs variance analysis of actual and planned results. *Reviews journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure accurate reporting. *Develop and maintain financial models and reports. *Assist management in developing budgets and understanding profitability of the business. *Develop, analyze and report business unit metrics as appropriate. *Review processes and propose recommendations for improvement. *Present results of analysis and makes recommendations to management. *Develop financial processes, tools and controls to support business requirements. *Assists with the recruiting and training of lower level analysts. *May lead cross-organizational/global functional team for complex business cases and process improvements. *May help develop and must execute on strategic initiatives. May lead projects or teams to accomplish. Complexity *Works on assignments complex in nature where considerable independent judgment and initiative are required in recognizing/ resolving problems and discrepancies. Knowledge and Skills *Applies advanced skills/ competencies and generally adapts procedures, techniques and tools under minimal direction to perform tasks. *Must possess thorough understanding and ability to communicate business objectives. *Demonstrates strong analytical skills for very complex business cases and process improvements.

Manages MDF funding (allocates, tracks performance, records spends, reports on status of spend, notifies funding constituents of execution), places orders of equipment, opens POs, communicates deadlines of MDF deliverables to the Precision workstation team, provides monthly/quarterly/annual reports of budgets, coordinates regional MDF budgets and provides a flash report bi-weekly.

Additional Job Details:
Manager is most interested in finding someone who has a high attention to detail in this role. They need to be able to meet deadlines and track financials accurately quarter to quarter – year to year. Preference is for someone with 5 years, however if they have 3 years’ experience, but fit the bill you can submit them.
