Job Description :
System Design & Documentation
? Assist in the development & review of system specifications and user manuals;
? Assist in the review and confirmation of system as-built electrical and mechanical drawings.
? Equipment/System Setup & Testing
? Support receipt of equipment deliveries, unpacking/uncrating, and distribution of machinery, devices, and
documentation to designated areas and recipients;
? Performance of quality assurance activities with respect to verifying the state of received equipment/software
from vendors, partners, and clients;
? Preparation of equipment for initial power-up, including installation of power supply cables and continuity
testing;
? Installation and configuration of equipment/system communication cables, switches, and other networking
devices;
? Installation & configuration of equipment software, devices and associated sensors;
? Performance of basic operating system configuration activities (e.g., permissions, user groups, network
settings, system backups, etc;
? Assist in factory acceptance testing preparation, execution, and closeout activities.
? Equipment Installation & Testing
? Travel to remote client sites and the establishment of relationship with client’s designated points of contact;
? Coordination with other client site vendors regarding activities that are necessary to achieve a successful
installation/integration;
? Integration of equipment into existing production lines;
? Assist client quality departments with execution of equipment/system site acceptance testing;
? Support disaster recovery preparatory activities, including the recording of settings, backing up of
software/devices, and imaging of embedded PCs;
? Support troubleshooting and resolution of identified inconsistencies in equipment/system functions or
sequence of operations;
? Support training end-user operators.
? Support, Troubleshooting & Repair
? Assist in client support requests for issues and concerns over equipment, software, devices, and networking,
etc.;
? Assist in client support through local or remote diagnostic activities;
? Assist in coordination and communication with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) personnel regarding
technical support needs;
? Performance of equipment repair, including rewiring panels, building cables, and replacing equipment/system components.
