Position: .Net Developer
Location: Pearl River, NY
Duration: 6+Months
BRIEF JO HIGHLIGHTS:
Long term contract, 1+ year. Need a solid .NET Developer (C#, .NET, ASP.NET) with some exposure / experience in Angular or Node. They also use Python.
His team has 3 products, POS and Retail / Restaurant domain. Said he will consider someone not local who can relo, but would prefer to find someone local.
Also said it would be a challenge to find someone living in NYC to make the commute, as most won’t leave the city.
Qualifications:
Five (5) or more years of software development experience.
Knowledge of .NET, C# or VB.net, Sql Server, SQL server reporting services, ASP.net.
Experience in building .net based desktop and web applications.
Experience with POS systems is preferred.
Two (2) or more years’ experience in Angular 2.0+ and Node JS is preferred.
Working knowledge on HTML 5,CSS 3.0, Bootstrap, Electron and JavaScript is preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, proven ability in determining the root cause of problems and the base set of conditions for their occurrence.
Must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently and possess a sense of accountability and urgency in completing assignments.

.NET Software Developer needed in Pearl River, NY with experience building .NET based desktop and web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and creating new software as well as maintaining and improving existing software systems. Duties include writing codes for new and existing software products, participating in code reviews, analyzing current programs for performance and troubleshooting, and documenting solutions by developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, etc. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a working knowledge of .NET, C# or VB.net, SQL Server, SQL server reporting services, and ASP.net. The ideal candidate will have experience with POS Systems as well as experience with Angular 2.0+ and NodeJS.
