SAP HANA Architect

Bay Area, CA

6 Months

10+ Years of Experience in Enterprise Data Warehousing in both Relational and Multi-Dimensional Data Modeling Techniques
Proven and demonstrable experience in architecting, designing and implementing enterprise-scale, high volume, high availability systems
Demonstrated leadership and ownership of large projects / innovative features that have been successfully deployed
Take ownership of the solution, develop solution strategy and drive the engagement from solution stand point independently
Hana Expert with ability to synthesize the technical needs to the business requirements for a new engagement
should be able to understand the use case and be able to fit the solution in Hana platform and be able to recommend the right BI tool set required for the applicable Analytics use cases
Design and Define HANA views, Data Flow for ER MODEL
Experience in the full-life cycle of large and complex enterprise services with minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing full life cycle SAP HANA solutions
Must have very strong demonstrated knowledge of SAP HANA SPS09/10 including good hands on working experience in HANA Modeling
Strong proficiency in SQL. Extensive experience in writing Stored Procedures in HANA using SQL Script
Strong Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
Good Knowledge of HANA XS, JavaScript and developing User Interface with SAP UI5.
Hands on experience in using SAP BODS (Business Objects Data Services), SLT and SDA (Smart Data Access) to extract structured/unstructured data from different source systems into HANA
Hands on development experience with SAP Business Objects 4.X Reporting Tool Set
Strong Requirements gathering and validation experience
Experience in designing and implementing security for SAP HANA.
Knowledge in Supply Chain domain is desirable
Working experience on HANA Application Lifecycle Manager to transport Code
Knowledge in SAP HANA advanced features – Dynamic Tiering, Smart Data Integration, Data warehousing Foundation tools.
Previous experience working directly with business people to determine, document and finalize their data requirements
Ability to work well in team environment, ability to meet deadlines, time management and multi-tasking in a fast-paced project environment
Strong leadership qualities – ability influence others and inspire others to create their best work
