Job Description:
FEA Engineer
Greenville, SC
Identify and execute cost out on tower mechanical components.
Assist team with current projects and or lead projects.
Items in scope for a cost out program:
o Define requirements (Design, compliance, safety, schedule), develop different concepts, evaluate concepts with design (Hand calculations and/or FEA) perform, provide engineering instructions for drawing creation, check and approve drawings, develop should cost for lifecycle of component and work with suppliers to ensure manufacturability.
BS Mechanical Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience in a design engineering role. Proficient in ANSYS for FEA. Ability to lead programs and projects.
