Provides an effective and consultative service to all stakeholders.

Responsible for full life cycle recruitment from sourcing, screening and selection to negotiation, offer and close, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.

Develops and maintains strong working relationships with stakeholders, vendors and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.

Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.

Leverages online recruiting resources to identify and recruit the very best candidates and participates in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.

Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques and lead the way in industry best practices. Serves as a mentor to other Recruiters and drives best practices across the great Talent Acquisition team.

Develops a strong understanding of Rackspace and our culture. Use this understanding to provide inspiring information to candidates about Rackspace, our business strategy and the opportunity.

Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation in our recruitment system on all candidates, hiring manager’s interactions, and other recruiting activities.

Proactively provides data and market insights to stakeholders and business leaders.

Partners with HR and Talent Development to ensure we have a joined-up approach to talent management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 7 - 9+ years recruiting, hiring and/or sourcing experience required. Prefer a degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or Communications. At the manager’s discretion, a High School diploma/GED and 4 years additional relevant experience may substitute for degree requirement.
Experience recruiting C Level Executives

Extensive experience managing full lifecycle recruiting gained within the IT industry.

Proven background using direct sourcing strategies to identify and hire top technical talent to include AWS, Azure, Linux, Virtualization, Storage, Windows.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive partnerships with Hiring Managers and Leaders with expert knowledge of customer needs assessment. Advises and educates hiring teams on best practices for the recruitment process.

Proven ability to influence key stakeholders with the courage to challenge and set expectations.

Solution orientated, able to solve complex recruitment problems and challenges.

Creative approach to recruitment and ways to attract top quality candidates with the ability to present new recruiting concepts to Stakeholders.

Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

A drive for results, able to manage a medium-volume, high complexity workload in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed.
