Position : Exchange Server Administrator
Location : Wallingford, Connecticut
Duration : 6+ Months
Is a level 3 who has skills in MS Exchange and Windows Server Administration to keep the system environment stable
Manage MS Exchange and Windows Server Infrastructure
Work on user tickets related to windows Infrastructure
Develop Scripts that will help automate activities in terms of alerts and reports
Work on messaging (email) tools / applications hosted by third party vendors
Keeps abreast of new technology and make recommendations as to how best to utilize the new technology for the benefit of our customers. Proactively assesses exposure areas and takes steps to reduce vulnerabilities.
Prescribes system backup / disaster recovery procedures and directs recovery operations in the event of destruction of all or part of the operating system or other system components.
Skills
Essential:
MS Exchange System Engineer with:
5+ years’ experience in implementing and supporting an MS Exchange 2010; 2013 and 2016 and Skype for Business environment
Hands on experience implementing and supporting High Availability solutions.
Microsoft Certified Exchange 2013 / 2016 administrator, MCSE certification required
Excellent knowledge of SMTP and other routing protocols
Blackberry / Airwatch administration a plus
MS Exchange and Windows Server Security Management practices: System Hardening and implementing security policies, procedures and guidelines
Manage the CAS/HUB load balancer using Hardware load balancers
Good communication and presentation skills
Administration of Windows server 2008 and 2012 infrastructure.
Level 3 troubleshooting skills
Build Windows Servers and Clustering
Strong understanding of enterprise system and network management systems.
Understand and follow ITIL processes including Change & Configuration, Problem, Incident and Service Readiness and other SOP ( Standard Operating Procedures)
