Position 1

Job title: Data Science with Machine Learning
Location: Franklin lakes, NJ
Type of Hire: Contract

Data Scientist "• Post-grad in one of the following fields with strong academic credentials: • Computer Science/IT •
Operations Research/Applied Math • Engineering • Statistics". Build advanced analytics models and solutions for our clients to improve various business outcomes.
Is part of a team that successfully develops complex algorithms and brings cutting edge innovate to elevate Cognizant’s ability to create for clients in areas and through means not immediately apparent to clients"Business:
Works with the business team to identify the right business objective and data required to answer the same.
Executes a data collection plan from both structured and unstructured sources that helps in data exploration , hypothesis testing and statistical modeling Analyzes data and generates insights that can articulated to business stakeholders Develops POCs that can be used to generate business decisions Simulates several scenarios through an interactive visualization that deepens the business

Position 2

Job title: Business Analytics
Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Type of Hire: Contract

Support delivery of one or more data science use cases, leading on data discovery and model building activities
Conceptualize and quickly build POC on new product ideas - should be willing to work as an individual Contributor Open to learn, implement newer tools\products
Experiment & identify best methods\techniques, algorithms for analytical problems Operationalize
Work closely with the engineering, infrastructure, service management and business teams to operationalize use cases
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with statistical software tools: R,
Python 3+ year experience in business analytics, forecasting or business planning with emphasis on analytical modeling, quantitative reasoning and metrics reporting
Experience working with large data sets in order to extract business insights or build predictive models
Proficiency in one or more statistical tools/languages Python, R, and related packages like Pandas, SciPy/Scikit-learn, NumPy etc.
Exp in SAS & Tableau is plus
