Job Requirement:
Working experience in a OLTP 24x7 production environment.
Experience working with Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata/ZDLRA/ZFS) is required.
Experience of working with Exadata Full Stack patching involving Image Upgrades , Bundle Patches and Infiniband switches.
Proficient in Exadata skills like cell monitoring , cell patching , ILOM managment and cell reboot.
Familiar with various versions of Exadata and Expansion Racks.
OS Storage/ backup operations experience.
Working knowledge of maintaining, cloning, patching and upgrading oracle databases.
Experience working with RMAN including incremental backups, sector sizing, cloning from a backup, and active cloning.
Working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (Grid Control), Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC)
Hands-on experience on installation and configuration and trouble shooting of Oracle products and patches, including RAC, ASM, Clusterware, Data Guard, OID, Grid/Cloud Control.
Working experience on large data warehouse environment
Working knowledge on GoldenGate performance and configuration on RAC.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English language
Experience with on-shore and off-shore model
Key Notes:
Must have strong RAC troubleshooting skills:.
Knowledge of exadata platform and ETL jobs support
Have setup services with failover nodes.
Pre requisites to configure a RAC database. like IPs,storage,ulimit requirements.
Troubleshooting performance issues in RACWhat are GC waits.
How to setup a DataGuard.
How to setup OEM monitoring.
Expdp and Impdp utilities.
Good understanding of golden gate replication.
