We have a Immediate need for a Estimator , This is a full time direct hire role with our direct client in Bronx NY , They are looking to fill this role ASAP .

Reports To: Customer Experience Manager
Summary of Job Function:
The Estimator will prepare accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing project specifications. They will provide written estimates to customers based on specific job requirements. Estimators must have excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset. They must also be thorough and pertinent in managing relationships with key customers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Minimum 5 years working in a sales environment
Proven experience as estimator or similar position
Familiarity with elevator products or similar construction equipment
In depth knowledge of construction product specifications
Experience utilizing product configuration software
Proficient in relevant sales software – CRM
Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
Thoroughness and reliability • Excellent organizational skills
Essential Duties
Understand customer jobs, projects, specifications and their requirements
Determine key variables for pricing
Gather required information from the job and contractor/consultant
Conduct research to obtain data on optional equipment and engineering requirements
Use software for estimate options selections and estimate creation
Obtain and review offers and quotes by other contractors
Create and submit estimate reports to sales management team
Build relationships with key customers
Meet bid deadlines based on customer requirements
Interface with key engineering and technical staff to ensure estimates meet customer and specification requirements
