Entry Level Data Analyst
Location: Multiple
The Data Analyst is an entry level position and is responsible for processing the data obtained from experiments performed according to protocol, facility SOP and the appropriate regulations. They also communicate with Program Oversight and Program Execution team members to ensure that the data reported are accurate and appropriately processed and represented.
Requirements:
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
Use databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Input and review raw data
Respond to Quality Assurance audit reports
Participate in the training of other data analysts or scientists
Write and review Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or Applied Math is preferred.
Experience in complex analysis projects preferred.
Experience in researching and analyzing system data preferred.
Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
Ability to summarize and disseminate large amounts of data to different audiences.
