The Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Solution Architect will work closely with business partners, business teams, Client and 3rd party partners to build project solutions for the enterprise content
management capability in OpenText.
The ECM Solution Architect is a skilled professional in systems & process design who will define and apply system architecture, create technical designs, as well as build
and test solutions to solve various business requirements.

This position requires knowledge of the solution(s) and business processes for enterprise content management, and the ability to design solutions by
mapping customer business problems to reusable end-to-end business application solutions.
This position ensures solutions developed are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage
common solutions and services, and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits
This position is accountable for solution evaluation and early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case.

Role Responsibilities
20% Architecture Design & Development
Develops ECM solution architecture by leading solution definition, solution architecture reviews, and solution selection efforts.
Provides strategic consultation and recommendations for SAP extended ECM design/architecture
Provides support and consultation for detailed design, deployment and production support
Involved in complex, high risk, high visibility projects and new technology enablement
Responsible for creation of high-level estimates for prospective DBI solutions as part of the Client IT Demand Management Process


60% Solution Design
Develop requirements specifications using standard templates, using natural language.
Design, build, test, and deploy ECM solutions.
Help establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
Perform reviews with key stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle to ensure alignment on solution designs and requirements. This may include but is not limited to the following activities: design
reviews, testing execution, deployment verifications, customer satisfaction reviews, etc.
Create supporting solution design documentation to ensure sustainment of the solution and business capability, support solution implementation as necessary.
Configure and test ECM solutions.
Manage workload and priorities to deliver agreed upon project milestones
Holds project team resources accountable to their deliverables and ensures project execution.
Prepare high and detailed level estimations of effort in order to achieve a preferred solution.

10% IT Innovation & Delivery
Maintains extensive knowledge of industry ECM trends, and utilizes this knowledge to educate both IT and business stakeholders on opportunities to build better solution architectures that support and drive business decisions
Participates in construction, automation, and implementation activities, ensuring successful implementation with architectural and operational requirement are met
Provides technical oversight to others resolving complex technical issues

Required Qualifications
7+ years of SAP xECM architecture, development experience
Experience with SAP ECC platforms, including GTS, Central Finance, HANA, and S4
Experience with xECM SalesForce integration
Experience with xECM SuccessFactors integration
Experience with OpenText Content Server 16 and Archive Server
Experience with OpenText security, including OTDS

Experience architecting and designing SAP, SAP xECM, ArchiveLink, and InfoArchive solutions
Experience architecting and designing SAP VIM and ICC solutions
Experience with Enterprise Scan and OCC
Proficiency in SAP PRTP and OTSC functional processes
Experience working in a fast paced and challenging environment, with multiple complex projects going on at one time

Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
Demonstrated ability to define architectural concepts and standards
Understanding of content management technology; current on new ideas and tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Business fluency in English
