Description:

Plan, architect, design, and build complex human services information systems. Assists CIO with Devops engineering plan, agile planning, cloud engineering, and program governance
1. Performs complex systems architecture and analysis tasks, including developing architectures, agile implementation design, and technology organizational coaching and assessment
2. Creates and oversees devops program, and mentors devops engineering staff
3. Implements collaborative development programs and tools, such as Jira, Confluence and slack
4. Creates project documentation including statements of work, roadmaps, and C-level communication
5. Architects full stack environment, including implementation and adoption
6. Architects cloud environments, including devops environment, security framework, and compliance support
7. Mentors cloud engineers
8. Works with cloud vendors, federal partners, and district government agencies to design system integrations
9. Develops IV&V plan for CIO use
10. participates in state and national conferences promoting technology innovation and adoption
11. Leads project work sessions including standups, story grooming, and change control board meetings
12. Supports the CIO in the development of plans, architectures, road maps, and other documents
Experience requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent, previous c-level state local government experience, demonstrated familiarity with cloud technologies, including IaaS, Paas, of Devaas. Full stack development expertise.
