Job Description:
TXDIR – Enterprise Solution Architect to support implementation of legislatively required legacy modernization strategy:
The CTO team is requesting this position to provide initial training to agencies in use of DIR’s Legacy Modernization Guide and Application Development Decision Framework (ADDF – www. dir. texas. gov/addf-request), with architectural support of same.
The staff augmentation Enterprise Solution Architect will facilitate the integration of the Legacy Modernization Guide and App/Dev Decision Framework (ADDF) in state agencies’ application development and modernization efforts, deployment of the second iteration of the Prioritization of Cybersecurity and Legacy Systems (PCLS - http://dir. texas. gov/View-Resources/Pages/Content. aspx?id=54) and support for the rollout of the Application Portfolio Management service and Quality Assurance Team (QAT
The work will include:

o Lead workshops

o Integration across all the related projects

Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
10 Leading the implementation and management of enterprise class information technology systems.
7 Developing materials for and presenting in workshops and training environments
5 Creating technology policy, standards, best practices for business customers. Documenting and presenting the value and benefit of adopting the same.
5 Gathering business requirements, architecting enterprise models to support those requirements, and maintaining the organization and support of the implementation of the model.
Strong Excellent spoken and written English language skills
