The primary function of this role is: Providing L1 Support for engineering teams developing enterprise products in a DellEMC lab.

Daily tasks include:
Working with sensitive components in ESD controlled environment
Racking, cabling and configuring enterprise hardware under direction
Troubleshooting servers, storage, networking and software components
Assisting with resource management, lab and dock material receiving and clean-up

Valuable knowledge:
Ability to follow procedures, documentation, and test cases
Any Enterprise Dell/EMC product familiarity (Servers, Storage, Switches)
Experience building their own PC
Experience installing and configuring operating systems (Windows, Linux, VMware)
Exposure to TCP/IP , A+ cert, or general PC upgrades/modifications (RAID, HDD, SSD, GPU, Memory, NIC)

Description:
ACCOUNTABILITIES Performs design characterization on all Product Group products. Analyzes characterizations for violations of known specifications, potential violations and overall signal integrity. Proposes and or implements fixes for any known violations. Troubleshoots and repairs systems to the component level. Sets up, configures and tests prototype systems and software. Assembles and disassembles prototype systems as necessary. Researches and learns new technologies and procedures to remain current with industry standards and new products. Sets up and operates calibrates electronic test equipment, and verifies its working condition maintains its working condition.
