Job Title : Systems Engineer with automotive active safety camera systems

A Systems Engineer (Contract) will provide definition and direction of customer requirements for the development of systems level architecture by performing the following duties;
· Develop system design and verification plans - evaluate customer requirements and product a technical design specification and verification plan for the Engineers
· Perform a failure mode effect analysis at the system level to drive design improvements
· Create and track a schedule for design development and verification
· Act as a champion for a program that directs software, hardware and mechanical design efforts
· Develop prototype systems hardware and firmware
· Analyze system hardware architecture and define improvements
· Define system level requirements and develop system level architectures
Job Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from a four-year college or university. Master's degree is preferred
· 2-5+ years' experience with automotive active safety camera systems
· Knowledge of hardware, software and optics
· Process-oriented experience
· Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction
