Job Title - Engagement Manager

This is a contract to hire

The Engagement Manager will lead the strategic partner’s integrations with our API by providing white glove services throughout the client lifecycle and cultivating external relationships while working directly with internal client’s teams to develop, promote and improve the product offerings.

Key responsibilities include
Manage complex, high value IT consulting projects that require the coordination of development work on multiple platforms and across multiple teams to achieve the desired outcome.
Build and maintain excellent client relations.
Ensure both the client and internal expectations are met.
Assist in defining strategic business requirements and client needs.
Own the Professional Services delivery methodology.
Establish metrics to analyze and track performance.
6+ years of work experience in professional services roles for related web technologies.
Experience leading presales within an IT related field, ideally professional services, or custom development.
Proven and substantial experience leading complex IT projects (typically 6+ years
Proven ability to lead large matrixed teams from many different groups and different locations. Ability to drive results through task coordination, handoffs and overall delivery of solutions.
Excellent presentation skills, written and oral communications.
Experience interacting with C-level personnel and senior leaders as well as Engineers.
Able to identify and negotiate solutions to address project challenges.
Comfortable challenging ideas and working with disparate groups to bring consensus.
Able to handle ambiguity in the project without losing focus.
Able to perform with minimal direction. Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
2+ years of experience using Salesforce for managing opportunities and leads.
Good understanding of web services and related standards like REST, OAuth and JSON. Experience working with standard web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and mobile development is preferred.
Experience using a professional services automation tool is preferred.
Exposure to Agile methodology is preferred.
Strong knowledge of financial and payments industries, and emerging technology trends is preferred.
