IDEALFORCE has a Contract-to-Hire position available immediately for a Engagement Manager to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona . This is an ONSITE position. This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity, candidates submitted must be interested in converting to a FTE status. The State of AZ does not have the ability to sponsor visas at time of conversion

As an integral part of the Business Engineering Division, the Engagement Manager (EM) performs a critical functional role of being the single point of contact within ASET for a set of named Agencies, Boards, and Commissions (aka Customers) and reports to the Engagement Team Manager. The EM works closely with cross-functional teams within ADOA-ASET including technical and Business Analysts, Strategic Consultants, Network, and Operations departments, etc. and monitors customer satisfaction to provide feedback to ADOA-ASET on areas of concern that need attention. As the face of ADOA-ASET to the customers, the EM is responsible for establishing ADOA-ASET as a trusted and preferred partner/advisor for service delivery and service brokerage.

30% - Works closely with customers in developing their IT Plans in line with the vision for the State Works with Strategic, Business, Technical Analysts to develop Statewide and ADOA-ASET strategic plans. Assists customers with budget requests as necessary to facilitate IT funding. Assists customers with IT solution identification, vendor selection and provides high-level 30 advise and feedback as necessary on IT projects. Creates proposals and agreements for engagement with ADOA-ASET.

Assists with customer risk identification, assessment, and mitigation. Has complete knowledge of service offerings and works closely with other teams or individuals in ADOA-ASET to provide visibility on customer needs and their feedback.

20% - Monitors and provide technical oversight for assigned Agency projects/programs. Works directly with agencies to address critical project issues and/or other program support, including enterprise-level application support. Assists in the development of vendor management contracts internally with a view to provide the contract vehicle as a product or service to

10% - Is responsible for Account Management including on-boarding, off-boarding and intergovernmental Service Agreements (ISAs Develops and maintains procedures for external and internal interaction with customers and with ADOA-ASET. Develops and maintains KPls/metrics to measure the value of the role quantitatively and qualitatively.

5% - Assists with customer interaction and management during emergencies. Contributes to knowledge-base, process maps and overall maturity of the organization. Complete other projects or duties as required or assigned. Works teams and individuals within ADOA-ASET to provide visibility on customer needs and their feedback.

5% - Other Duties as assigned

Knowledge:
- Knowledge of business requirements development, as well as design, build, test, configuration and implementation
processes for application and system software and hardware implementation projects.
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure options, including facilities, computer hardware, systems software, networks, and
telecommunications for a variety of platforms; infrastructure support staff, data, operational procedures, financing and
other components.
- Knowledge of software systems development life cycle and IT evaluation, planning, procurement development and
implementation stages.
- Skilled in applying tools and techniques of project management to negotiate formal acceptance of the scope with
stakeholders, and to manage needed changes in scope and deliverables throughout a project
Knowledge of business requirements development, as well as design, build, test, configuration and implementation
processes.

Skill:
Quick learning skills and ability to adopt appropriate customer engagement strategies to build relationships and trust
Understand the design of performance metrics to guide the development and collection of the right data.
Command of program/project management, extensive knowledge of management principles, concepts and techniques
and their practical applications, and comprehensive knowledge of business practices and processes.

Ability:
- Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Assist in the development of process maps
- Ability to interface with customers, sales and technical personnel in a professional manner
- Demonstrate understanding of customer environment
