Position: Storage Technical Manager
Location: Irving, TX

Job Description:
Minimum of 7 years of in an Information Technology leadership or program management position
Expertise working with multiple of the following: EMC Symmetrix/VMAX environment, EMC SRDF and Timefinder, Cisco SAN Switches, Brocade SAN Switches, EMC VNX, Hitachi Enterprise Class Storage Arrays, Netapp SANScreen, IBM XIV, ScaleIO, Actifio, and virtual SAN environments
Broad knowledge of advanced environment monitoring & management tools, performance modeling tools, capacity analysis tools, and other advanced trending tools
Experience with EMC Storage Resource Management suite desired but not a requirement
Experience in capacity planning, systems performance analysis and optimization in a distributed infrastructure including VMWare ESX
The ability to interpret report data and translate it into a business impact or strategic actions that need to occur
Strong technical problem-solving skills
Overall IT experience in a Client-Server environment, with practical knowledge of mainframe, midrange, distributed, and desktop technologies
Roles & Responsibilities :
Responsible for delivering a full range of capacity management services for SAN, network attached, and local storage in a large distributed server environment with a focus on performance.
Will work with vendors, application teams, and systems administrators for storage performance diagnosis, with peer SAN storage and engineering teams on optimizing architecture and infrastructure, and with product managers and internal clients on analysis and planning of appropriate solutions and offerings.
Interface with application development teams as well as executive leadership and requires an individual that is able to use data driven analysis to influence outcomes and to work independently.
Identify gaps and define key metrics required for analytics and trending, develop criteria to measure opportunity and risk, and establish processes to provide ongoing oversight.
