Role: End User Computing (EUC) Management

Location: Hopkins, MN

Duration: Long Term



ROLE DESCRIPTION

· Dedicated Techno Program lead takes sponsor load to maintain the domain priorities, create business case, build roadmap, forecast Niche skill requirement, resolving technical roadblocks and project barriers, close track of projects performance, Identifying opportunities to fast track projects, inter projects dependencies, etc.

· Design and hands on experience on the end user computing services that includes Image management, software distribution and packaging, profile management, patch management, License management, Inventory management, Remote Management, Integration of security suite, Cross platform compatibility, etc.

· Tools – SCCM, Bomgar, Citrix XenApp, Netscaler, etc.



Roles and Responsibilities:

Roadmap

· Partner with Portfolio management and domain to maintain the roadmap initiatives

· Plan on the resourcing for upcoming initiatives

· Hiring and Managing resource allocation



Scoping and estimate

· Scope and estimate the projects in the roadmap

· Responsible for the technical approach, estimation and commit start date based on tech resourcing plan

· Present the solution proposal and obtain approval



Project Execution

· Create project plan aligning with dependencies, risks, etc.

· Manage project manager(s) or project performance? Lead the escalated project management and technical issues and responsible to resolve

· Executive status communication on the domain portfolio health

· Detailed project status communication to customer? Global alignment on the new solutions, large deployments happening in the infrastructure space? Engage COE/Alliance partner or vendor as required to resolve issues

· Proactively monitor the technical resource bandwidth and raise red flag to hire or shuffle resource before project go for task

· Review the technical solution proposed and sign off



Operation Readiness

· Responsible to define and align the operationalize the requirements with domain SPOC for support



Qualifications:

· 8+ years of experience in managing end-user computing environment in a “hands-on” enterprise environment.

· 5+ years of experience in managing roadmap and execute transformational type of projects in end user computing environment

· Experience Must have excellent customer orientation skills, proven organizational abilities and be able to work in a fast-paced research environment.

· Strong organizational and prioritization skills, ability to juggle and track many tasks and complete them in a timely manner.

· Ability to work well as part of a team, sharing research, knowledge and leading practices with team members.

· ITIL concepts strongly preferred. Strong communication skills required.
