Embedded Software Manager - Firmware

The Digital Cockpit Software team at NIO is responsible to bring-up and develop a new software product using the most state of the art processor, software, development tools on which other teams will develop to deliver the future and amazing user experience in the cockpit.

Technical manager for major embedded software systems through the entire product life cycle, from software requirements, design, implementation, tests, release and maintenance
Lead software architecture and design discussions and facilitate code reviews
Plan resources, manage priorities and deliver to commitments
Engage in sprint planning and prioritization
Mandatory skills:
Experience in software architecture and design from scratch of a complete software product
Exceptional C, C++ programming skills
Great depth of experience in Linux kernel and one or more RTOS (FreeRTOS, IAR) driver development for embedded systems with ARM based Microcontrollers
Experience developing an SDK
Familiar with general Software Quality Assurance methodologies
Hands-on with Continuous Integration process
Experience with multi-site development organisation
Proficiency with embedded software toolchains (e.g. GCC) and version control (GIT)
Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Agile)
Experience using bug tracking systems (e.g. Jira)
Experience with code coverage and static analysis tools
Excellent analytical and problems solving skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, result-oriented
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
5+ years experience managing a team of 5 or more people
10+ years experience development embedded systems including experience as a software or system solutions architect
Hands-on experience with system development and hardware product integration
Experience delivering three or more major products to mass production
