Job Description :
Title: Embedded Network Engineer
Job Purpose: Implementation of embedded software (API / register level logic) of a managed switch engine for IFE system
Contract: 6 months+
Location: Irvine, CA
Technical Skills: ? Hands on experience on managed switch engine with
Ethernet protocol like IGMPv2, IGMPv3, RSTP, IGMP,
VLAN etc.
Hands on experience on low level software for Timesys
embedded Linux on ARM architecture (HAL API, register
level logic)
Experience on writing network stack with Network design
diagnostics skill.
Socket/Network programming with C/C++.
Experience on Linux device drivers & debugging.
Hands on experience on understanding the Datasheets
and schematics.
Knowledge of Shell scripting.
Knowledge of the Scrum development process and
Continuous Integration practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good to have:
Experience on Marvell switch with DSDT support.
Experience iMx6 platform.
Experience with IFE systems.
