Job Title: Embedded Engineer
Location: Denver, CO
12+ months contract

Responsibilities:
Expert level Linux knowledge
Expert embedded systems knowledge. OpenWRT experience strongly desired.
Ability to design and configure a Linux system from scratch, including fine tuning the kernel, modules, and OS packages.
Knowledge and experience on implement HAL support on embedded systems
Strong programming experience in C/C++
Knowledge and development experience for IoT devices
Strong scripting knowledge and experience: shell scripting is a must, python/ruby/javascript are desired.
Great understanding of computer architecture and digital logic.
Expertise in toolchains, makefiles, and cross-compiling.
Linux administrator knowledge and best security practices
Build Automation experience
Great understanding of Continuous Integration / Deployment processes
CI tools such as Jenkins / Bamboo or equivalent
Proficient with SQL DBs (Postgres desirable)
Knowledge and familiarity with NoSQL Databases
Source control software experience, including branching strategies, configuration (git preferred)
Strong knowledge of IP networking
Distributed System Infrastructure, Emphasizing Common HTTP Idioms
Experience with Apache, NGINX or similar web servers
Experience with Dockers
Working knowledge of one or more container orchestration tools, Kubernetes preferred.
Proficient with Operations and Monitoring Tools such as Nagios/ELK/Grafana
IT automation tools experience such as Ansible/Chef/Puppet or similar are desirable
Ability to Present to Technical and Non-Technical Audiences
