Job Description :
Role: Email/HTML Developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 3-4 months contract
Interview: F2F if local (Preferred local first)
Responsibilities:
Code responsive, adaptive, and dynamic emails using SalesForce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget using the latest HTML, Javascript, AMPSCRIPT and CSS email oriented best practices.
Own reada bility and accurate rendering across all major email clients with tools such as Litmus and Email on Acid.
Build scalable templates for email content. Insert template changes to all daily email triggers.
Accuracy is a must. Will be testing emails plus dynamic code for successful deployment.
Work closely with the internal project management teams to ensure on-time delivery of email content for scheduled launches, along with preparation and testing of email content for internal review.
Education and Experience:
2 – 4 years’ experience email coding
HTML coding
AMPSCRIPT/JAVASCRIPT coding
CSS
Adobe creative cloud
Responsive design
Email platform system experience. SalesForce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational, written communication, editing skills and very strong attention to detail. Accuracy is key
Proven ability to multitask, adjust priorities, meet deadlines, and operate in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to follow through on and successfully execute tasks with little supervision
Familiarity with HTML email and template construction with an ability to code email and landing pages
Understanding of dynamic content and interactive functionality
Demonstrated knowledge of best practice email template design. Up to date on the latest email technology

Strong Quality Assurance/Accuracy experience and skill
