Job Description :
Responsibility
Develop 3D models, 2D drawings on PTC Creo, and B.O.M.s in Oracle cloud/agile PLM.
Correct/update red lined schematics, drawings and B.O.M.s.
Verify availability of various components of harness (cable/wire, terminals, and connectors) with component manufacturer prior to implementation of design.
Ensure compliance of components with the standards. Prepare controlled engineering drawings to support the fabrication, installation, and testing of prototype and production of various wire harness in the product design for cooling system for data centres.
Update the ECN and release the drawings for necessary approval process as per PLM process work flow.
Support for ongoing projects and migration of data from existing CAD platform to PTC Creo. Interact with cross functional and other onsite & offshore project team members for project related activities.
Maintain & track project related actives & task assigned.
Responsible for deliver on time as per desired quality requirement.
Follow customer specific standards and SOP (Standard operating procedures) in executing the task. Support other team members on PTC Creo tool related queries.
Key Technical Skill
Bachelor degree /B. S in Electrical engineering
Candidate well versed with design techniques of wire harness cables, wire harness routing & engineering.
Expert on PTC Creo in Oracle Agile PLM environment with Minimum 4 years
Hands on for detail engineering on PTC Creo CAD for wire harness 3D and 2D drawings creation.
Generation BOM and creating ECN and updating the ECN in Oracle PLM system.
Good in project execution, task management and quality management. Familiar with PTC Creo 2.0 and above, Oracle cloud PLM, Oracle agile PLM and exposure to Solid-Edge v8.0.

Proficient in using PTC Creo 2.0 and above, hands on PTC Cero cable/wire harness module. Should be able to guide/hand hold other team members on PTC Creo tool related queries.
Understanding on Electrical System Manufacturing and assembly process and safety standard requirement. Candidate having experience on wire harness design for large data centre cooling system and condenser will be prepared.
