Skills:
General Product Knowledge Preferred
0-3 years of Experience in Related Fields
Knowledge of RF Coils preferred
Average interpersonal, Leadership and Communication skills
General Familiarity with Simulation Software like PSPICE and some field plotting simulators
Knowledge in RF Radiation, Microwave and/or Antennas or Analog Electronics is preferred
Knowledge of ERP (Oracle, SAP, etc) and PLM Software (Agile, Windchill, etc) preferred
Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Word and Excel or Access required
BA/BS in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering or Electronics

Responsibilities:
May formulate initial design approach and defend proposed designs in a design review process.
Model proposed designs using various software tools, including NEC, PSPICE, Fast Henry, or internally developed modelling tools.
Build clinical prototypes and prove feasibility, functionality and image superiority over competitive coils, ensuring customer feedback is recorded and incorporated into the design and feasibly executed.
Work with mechanical engineering to ensure an adequate mechanical housing is created.
May document the development of the project.
Assist in gathering FDA data using the beta versions when first tested and may assist in FDA submission technical requirements.
Generate failure modes and effects analysis to complete a set of engineering drawings as per company guidelines, manufacturing instructions, a product follower sheet with QA procedures and technical input to the operator’s manual.
May assist the engineering department in problem-solving related to electrical engineering matters.
May promote, educate and train proper engineering and scientific practice throughout the department.
May select components and/or equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
May review vendor capability to support product development.
