Role: Elastic Search Developer
Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: Long Term Contract
Interview Mode: Phone/Skype
Candidate must possess strong knowledge in at least one of the following
areas:
AWS/Cloud
CICD
Big Data (Spark, EMR, Recommendations)
Job Description
* 10+years of relevant IT experience
* 5+ years of experience with Elasticsearch/Solr/Lucene and a strong
understanding of indexing, search, schema design, information retrieval and
relevance tuning
* 3+ years of experience working in a Linux Environment
* 3+ years of experience working with either Bash or Perl scripts
* 3+ years developing unit tests
* 3+ years of Git/SVN experience
* Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum,
Kanban, Extreme Programming
* Experience with Web services and messaging technologies such as
RabbitMQ or Kafka
* Mastery of at least one server-side language such as Go, Java, PHP
or Python
* Solid understanding of API design
* Experience with relational databases (such as Oracle, MySQL,
PostgreSQL)
* Knowledge and experience of monitoring tools (ELK stack, Prometheus,
Grafana)
* JIRA experience a plus
