Job Description :
The Web Applications Engineer will be responsible for designing, coding, deploying, and maintaining new web applications and for modifying existing web applications (both internet facing and internal facing Additionally, this position will serve as the primary support contact for web applications related help desk issues. This individual will also ensure maintenance of eCommerce and Intranet functionality, keeping existing production systems optimally configured for high performance, uninterrupted operation, and scalability for growth.
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required
2+ years of Web applications develop experience required
Knowledge of eCommerce processes and systems required
Knowledge of Intranet processes and systems required
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Ability to work with a diverse and integrated team consisting of application developers, business users and business analysts
Ability to comprehend and synthesize project requirements into a plan of action, facilitating the agreement of managers and co-workers on project needs through discussion, training and hands-on demonstration
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships with internal clients, and a successful track record of collaboration toward achieving objectives
Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to follow through
Must have good organizational skills and the ability to follow through on projects with minimal supervision
