Job Description :
The eCommerce Solution Lead will play a key role in implementing new eCommerce programs for our Parts Aftermarket business. Working closely with project management, stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts, they will provide technical expertise to guide the implementation effort, lead functional teams and insure a successful deployment of all phases of projects.
Responsibilities
? Ensure business requirements are met via appropriate technical solutions.
? In conjunction with Subject Matter Experts, determine the design approach and lead efforts to map out business processes in the solution.
? Ensure development (including interfaces/data migration) follows best practices.
? Provide regular status of activities to the management team.
? Ensure the designed solution and associated work follows Management direction to use out-of-the-box processes/functionality wherever possible.
? Assist project manager(s) and management in estimation of related work.
? Review functional and technical specifications to ensure design follows overall solution direction.
? Provide technical and functional expertise, as required by other members of the project team.
? Assist the management team with solution roadmapping and planning exercises, where required.
? Assist in identifying test scenarios for integrations and all test objects.
Qualifications
? Extensive understanding of eCommerce landscape and current technology, including best practices, features, functionality, and web technology. Must have previous end-to-end implementation experience as an eCommerce Solution Lead, including integrations with legacy systems.
? Understanding of software testing methodologies and software development life cycle process.
? Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Experience working on cross-functional team(s) in a collaborative software development environment, including working with System Integrators and 3rd party software vendors
? Strong customer service orientation, enjoys people and creates raving fans
? Curious, goal oriented and highly self-motivated with a passion for driving transformative change
? Proficient with MS Office Suite: Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
? Work experience in manufacturing industry or parts distribution a plus
