Role: EXADATA DBA – High Priority
Location: Columbus, IN
12 months contract
Description:
In depth understanding of the Oracle Application Architecture for EBS R12.2.5/6/7
In depth understanding of online patching, Edition based redefinition, R12.2. Coding standards
Must have done EBS upgrade from R12.1.x/11i to R12.2.x for production environment
Maintenance activities like Patching, cloning and System administration on R12.2.x
DB upgrade for EBS database from 10g/11g to 12c for production environment
Backup and recovery experience using RMAN
WebLogic Architecture, Installation, WebLogic Cluster, monitoring, application deployment, troubleshooting
11g/12c Database RAC implementation/Upgrade.
In depth understanding of RAC cluster diagnosing commands, troubleshooting RAC node resource issues, Network Interconnect issues, Shared disk issues, WebLogic Architecture, Installation, WebLogic Cluster, server monitoring, application deployment, troubleshooting, threads, dumps.
In depth understanding of Unix virtualization (OVM), creation of VM servers, resize of VM servers
Good communication and co-ordination skills
Nice to have skills:
Performance tuning for EBS R12.1.3/R12.2.4 environments
Platform migration experience - Solaris/AIX to Linux for ebusiness suite applications
Understanding of Exadata enviroment and Exadata features
Understanding of OBIE, OBIA, Demantra, Oracle access manager, Oracle identity Management, SOA administration, OTM Administration
