Job Description :
Establish EUC architecture strategies, choices, and standards including the management of the performance, availability, capacity, compliance, and responsiveness of the services delivered by all service providers.
Support strategic business initiatives including support of service transition processes.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive higher efficiency and performance of services
Provide oversight and governance for all infrastructure technology and domains
Provide leadership in the development and alignment to all application standards, application portfolio strategy, service level agreements, and processes.
Ensure vendor work is accurately and deeply reviewed and also meets all applicable standards; identify gaps.
Contribute to and apply IT industry best practices.
Participate in and/or lead a multi-functional IT Architecture group that reviews designs from an enterprise perspective.
Participate the review and design process and support the overall Enterprise Architecture Management process. Also, influence and lead change to architecture processes, strategies and standards, as needed.
Collaborate with the broader architecture, engineering, and technical service owner communities to provide input into IT standards and strategies.
Facilitate conversations with business and applicable vendors to drive out capability needs and outcomes.
Provide architectural leadership that supports insightful decision-making, drive efficiencies in the process, and maximizes the quality of technical deliverables.
Create or review IT plans that manage clear and realistic expectations of what technology can offer in terms of products, services, and delivery mechanisms.
Establish, maintain and review enterprise architecture models to enable applications development and decision-supporting activities, consistent with IT plans.
Produce artifacts such as architecture assessments and specifications, decision memos, wikis, and other items as required to meet project objectives.
The role within End User Computing (EUC) group is focused on the delivery of EUC services to customers serving as a key interface between the customer, the customer focused delivery teams and the rest of the organization.

Consultant will be assigned with transition and transformation accounts and responsible for a smoother handover to the delivery organization.
They are accountable for the success of the transition and transformation project that they are involved in.
A good knowledge of broad set of EUC services (Service desk, Desktop support, Exchange, SharePoint, AD, Citrix, Application Packaging, Imaging and Software Distribution), relevant support processes and methodologies, experience of large scale service delivery and transition project management, a high degree of cultural sensitivity and excellent communication skills are critical for the role.
Minimum Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in a combination of development, design, infrastructure/data center and/or related IT disciplines.
Experience in a desktop operations or engineering role supporting end users.
Direct experience in EUC architecture and the design of Microsoft Windows based laptop, desktop, and VDI environments on VMware Horizon and/or Citrix XenDesktop.
Experience working with Office 365 design and delivery.
Familiarity with messaging services (skype for business/MS Lync, etc)
Direct experience with client application management services including software distribution, application packaging, image engineering and management, desktop patch management services etc.
Direct experience with end-point security across physical and virtual devices.
Experience with virtualized solutions utilizing commercial off-the-shelf technologies.
Past experience to include significant background in leading and influencing broad and complex technical work with proven success in the delivery and design of quality scalable IT solutions, on budget and in compliance with application requirements.
Exposure to multiple, diverse technical integrations, technologies and processing environments, including cloud and SaaS technologies.
Familiarity with cloud computing is required.
Solid experience in solution design principles and practices, system development methodologies, and software life cycles.
Experience coordinating vendor solution delivery and partnering effectively with vendors to meet business needs.
