ROLE: ETL and BI/Reporting Developer
Location: Little Rock, AR

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an ETL and Reporting developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing data extraction, transformation and load procedures (ETL) and business intelligence reports for an Enterprise Data Warehouse using Microsoft based technology platforms and analysis of data from Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and IBM DB2 source databases, along with flat files primarily generated in Excel and .CSV formats.
Work with end users to document business requirements, design documentation, and report specifications to meet the reporting needs of key decision makers.
Develop programs to extract, transform, and load data from a variety of data sources such as flat files, relational databases, and XML file formats, using Microsoft based technologies such as Visual Studio 2012, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Design and architect all aspects of reporting including end user interfaces for report consumption. Develop reports using Microsoft based technologies such as Visual Studio 2012, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and other common reporting platforms.
Take data from normalized OLTP databases and flat files and create normalized reporting models using various techniques, such as Star Schemas to support future reporting needs.
Facilitate JAD sessions to elicit requirements for reporting purposes.
Resolve comments and/or seek clarifications from team on functional design documents across business process area.
REQUIRED SKILLS
5+ years of experience building ETL and Reporting packages using Microsoft SSIS and SSRS to transform, and report on data out of multiple sources, including Oracle, DB2, SQL Server and flat files.
Experience scheduling jobs to execute a series of ETL and BI Reporting packages
Great analytical and communication skills
Experience in interacting and working with clients directly.
Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and innovative approach to finding resolutions.
College degree or equivalent years of experience
Functional knowledge with health and human services public sector experience a plus.

Post Deployment activities includes: Resolve incidents/problems reported and also perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for issues.
Deliverables include: Document and maintain deliverables such as Code/BRDs/Design/Test Plans and Scripts/Deployment Plan.

Experience building reports using Power BI, Tableau SQL, or equivalent reporting tool
