Job Description
Performs and leads processes related to testing activities for new software development systems and applications
Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications
Serves as a mentor to lower level testing analysts and may provide work direction to others in project team(s)
May provide supervision to direct reports including performance management and associate development Ability to work independently to define, manage, and complete activities
Knowledge of the software testing discipline and its integration with software development life cycle
Ability to track and develop metrics for testing
Experience implementing testing processes/methodology in large, complex, diversified, global organizations
Experience with all types of major system development and deployment projects, especially using COTS solutions
Experience with Facilitation, Database testing, Test Automation, Performance testing, Data driven testing, IT Structured Software Testing, TestDirector, QTP, Testing Specialized, Win Runner, Load Runner, QTP
Acquires knowledge of the customer''s business in assigned area and industry
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Proven problem solving ability
Able to interpret requirement documents and able to update test documents accordingly
