Job Title: ETL Tester
Duration: 6 months
Location: Herndon, VA
Position Responsibilities:
Analyze business and IT requirements and contribute to systems & application architecture and design.
Work closely with the peers in ensuring the software design and implementation is sound and easy for future maintenance.
Design high level as well as low level software components to ensure that the final systems satisfies the functional requirements, use cases and performance needs.
Collaboratively develop architectural spikes and production implementations in short iterations with the architecture team.
Write clear, concise, and accurate system documentation.
Perform hands-on application integration data engineering tasks in the development of application integration solutions that involve complex, large-scale, (multi-terabyte size) data footprints leveraging ETL technologies
Perform capacity planning activities as related to application usage of resources that include storage, CPU, memory and network utilization
Optimize the ETL environments with respect to data access methods, access performance, storage, data integrity, system performance and system availability

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5 years of experience with analysis, design, and implementation of ETL applications which integrate with web-based OLTP applications and DataWarehouse systems.
Experience with Oracle 12c.
Oracle 12c SQL tuning expertise(required)
Experience with Oracle ODI 12c(required) – including customizing Knowledge Modules using PL/SQL, python, and/or Java
Experience with tableau reporting
Experience with Change Data Capture technologies.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Experience with OLTP and OLAP data architectures.
Experience with Data Warehouse and Datamart technologies.
Experience with data integration of multiple large-scale systems.
Experience collaborating with business users and application development teams to understand business and functional requirements and incorporating these into the ETL designs and processes.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with proven ability to translate complex technical subjects into terms that can be understood by technical and non-technical audiences.
