Job Description :
Duration – Long term (1 Year)

Position Purpose:
Responsible for requirements gathering using a variety of techniques. Works collaboratively with business owners to gather requirements and works with development, QA, and production support staff to ensure business and functional requirements are properly documented, tested, piloted and executed.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Gathers and documents business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, and use cases. Create and groom epics and user stories.
Analyzes and documents business processes and help identify opportunities for improvement.
Performing business analysis activities at the strategic, operational, and organizational level; working with key users in the continual improvement of business processes.
Provides end-user support in post-deployment phase to ensure feedback from support and operations team is addressed.
Interfaces with Business, product owners and developers to answer application and requirements questions.
Escalates the more complex questions, but follows up as to resolution.
Works with business owners and operations to review suggestions, system enhancements and production issues.

Skill Requirements
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Data Warehousing/BI applications/programs.
Knowledge of technical design processes and models. Ability to read/write simple/complex SQL
Knowledge of complex data structures and how they translate to a logical and physical database model.
Strong Business analyst skills in the Retail domain and should work with a cross-functional DW/BI delivery team (Having a good experience in the Supply Chain systems in the Retail stores will be an added advantage)
Excellent Data analytical skills
Experience working in an agile development team esp. creating user stories/epics, grooming and scrum practices. Experience with scrum tools such as VersionOne.
Strategic thinker and proven ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to share knowledge and coach and train other business systems analysts

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or similar
